Before confirming a booking, please familiarize yourself with this policy. By reserving a charter with BlueHarvestHub, you are accepting these refund conditions.

Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

More than 72 Hours Prior to Charter

100% Refund

Eligible for: Full reimbursement minus any handling charges

Processing Duration: 5-7 working days

Handling Charge: €50 for credit card payments

Requirements: Must be solicited in writing through email or phone

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Eligible for: Half the total cost of the charter

Processing Duration: 7-10 working days

Handling Fee: €25 subtracted from the refunded amount

Requirements: A valid justification is required; administrative fees apply

Less than 24 Hours Prior to Charter

No Refund

Eligible for: Reimbursement is not available

Exception: Emergency cases may be evaluated

Alternative: Credit for future charters could be provided at the discretion of management

Requirements: Supporting documents required for emergency instances

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Prioritizing safety, if sailing conditions are deemed unsafe by our certified captain, we present several options:

  • Full Refund: The entire amount is refunded when rescheduling isn’t feasible
  • Reschedule: Transfer your booking to an upcoming date without extra charges
  • Charter Credit: Obtain a voucher, valid for one year from the original charter date

Weather Assessment Procedure

Our evaluation of the weather conditions includes:

  • Reviewing wind speeds and direction
  • Evaluating wave heights and sea conditions
  • Forecasting visibility and precipitation
  • Heeding Coast Guard advisories and alerts
  • A professional safety assessment by our captain

Decision Time: Decisions regarding weather cancellations are made at least 4 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Urgent Circumstances

Medical urgencies may arise unexpectedly. Scenarios that might be eligible for exceptional consideration include:

  • Sudden medical incidents or injuries needing hospital admission
  • Passing of a close family member
  • Unexpected military duty or recall
  • Legal obligations such as jury service or a legal summons
  • Massive natural events impeding travel

Verification Obligations

For processing emergency refund requests, furnish us with:

  • Medical certification or hospital papers
  • Official death notification, if relevant
  • Authorized military directives
  • Legal summoning or jury notice
  • Official travel prohibitions or urgent proclamations

Procedure: Upon submission of the necessary proofs, emergency returns are processed within 3-5 business days.

Operational Cancellations

Technical Difficulties

Should your designated yacht face unsolvable mechanical issues:

  • Alternative Yacht: We aim to offer a similar replacement
  • Full Refund: If a suitable substitute isn't available
  • Partial Refund: In case the alternative has a different fee
  • Compensation: We may provide extra compensation for the inconvenience

Crew Absence

In the rare event that our approved crew is not available:

  • A substitute crew will be organized if feasible
  • Complete reimbursement if the charter can't go ahead
  • The opportunity to reschedule without incurring extra costs

Refund Processing

Mode of Payment

Refunded sums are returned to the original payment form used at booking:

  • Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days

Transaction Charges

Credit Card Transactions

€50 fee for revocations done more than 72 hours before

Bank Transfer Transactions

€25 charge for all bank transfer repayments

International Transactions

Extra costs could apply to transactions across borders

Charter Credits

Issuance of Credits

Credits for future charters may be given instead of cash refunds under certain circumstances:

  • Short-notice cancellations (under 24 hours)
  • Cancellations due to weather
  • Voluntary requests to reschedule
  • Service interruptions

Credit Specifications

  • Validity: Credits are good for 12 months from the date of issue
  • Transferability: Credits cannot be transferred to other parties
  • Value: They cover the full cost of the charter (excluding handling fees)
  • Use: They can be applied to any future charters that are available
  • Expiry: Credits must be used within the 12-month time frame with no extension

Partial Service Refunds

Service Disruptions

If the charter experience is interrupted or shortened due to our control:

  • Proportional refund based on the unspent duration
  • Credit for another charter of the same value
  • Complimentary bonuses or improvements

Guest-Related Disturbances

If a charter is cut short due to the conduct of guests or for not respecting safety regulations:

  • No reimbursement for the remaining time
  • Outstanding payment is still required
  • Potential additional costs

Dispute Settlement

In the case of disagreement with our refund assessment, you may:

  • Call for a reassessment by our administrative team
  • Submit extra supportive documents or proof
  • Engage consumer protection agencies for a resolution
  • Seek judicial recourse as per the laws in force

Your refund appeal should include:

  • Confirmation number of your reservation
  • Scheduled date and time of the charter
  • Cancellation rationale
  • Relevant documents (if necessary)
  • Requested manner of refund

Step 3: Assessment and Execution

Our team will acknowledge your appeal within a day, evaluate it against our policy, provide a resolution within two days, and proceed with approved reimbursements within the mentioned time frames.

Important Remarks

  • All refund petitions must be made in a written format
  • Repayments are processed in € regardless of the original payment's currency
  • We strongly suggest purchasing travel insurance
  • This policy is flexible to amendments with an advanced notice of 30 days
  • Refunds are subject to the established taxes and legal standards
